Palak paneer oats tikki recipe

Palak paneer is the regional dish of Punjab.. so I innovated in a very healthy way in the form of tikki as loved by children too .. It’s a very healthy and innovative recipe where instead of potatoes I used raw bananas .Spinach a Treasure house of vitamins and minerals, must be included in the week's menu..and oats a very good source of dietary fibres and proteins and paneer rich in calcium.. so here comes my very healthy savoury snacks recipe.. hope u all luv it..

Recipe Notes

While blanching the spinach make sure to add a pinch of sugar which will enhance the natural green colour of spinach and then immediately run it under the cold water .

Ingredients For Palak paneer oats tikki recipe

Methods
  • 1. Blanched spinach leaves to a fine purĂ©e or paste after draining the excess water .
  • 2. Add grated raw banana into spinach purĂ©e and mix in a bowl .
  • 3. Add rolled oats , paneer and mix everything well .
  • 4. Add all spices , breadcrumbs and mix everything gently with hands .
  • 5. Heat olive oil on a non stick pan . Shape the batter into small round tikis .
  • 6. Cut the bread in to small rounds with cutter .
  • 7. Place the tikki on one side of the pan and shallow fry . On the other side place the bread round and toast .
  • 8. Cut the lettuce leaves into small squares and halve the cherry tomatoes.
  • 9. Switch off the heat from under the pan .Line the bread round on the tables top . Place some plum chutney on each bread round and top it with piece of lettuce.
  • 10. Place the tikki over lettuce squares.
  • 11. Place a cheese squares on each tikki and place tomato on top and piercing the tooth pick through all layers.
  • 12. Arrange all tikki a on serving plate and garnish with mint leaves and sauce.
