Pineapple Basundi Recipe

This festive season make our own traditional sweet litte twist with fresh fruit. Basundi is our favorite sweet of Maharashtra. So I try to make it with my way.

Ingredients For Pineapple Basundi Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Boiled the milk on high heat over a heavy bottom sauce pan and bring it boil .
  • 2. Add the sugar and milkmaid stir continuously until the sugar dissolves.
  • 3. Once the sugar has dissolved and the milk is boiling for a few minutes in slow flame. scraping down the cream and adding it back to the condensing milk. Add pineapple paste little by little. Mixing well make a thick milk.
  • 4. Once the milk has reduced to half of its original quantity, turn off the heat. The Basundi is almost ready.
  • 5. Transfer the Basundi to a serving dish and allow it to cool before you can refrigerate for 3-4 hours. 
  • 6. Now take four pieces of pineapple. In a pan add sugar . When tge sugar get caramelized then add the pineapple and caramelized it.Served with cold pineapple Basundi.
