Punjabi Choori Recipe

Punjabi Choori Recipe is a traditional dish made with parathas which are made from leftover dal. These are crumbled with lots of desi Nova Ghee. This is specially given to young kids in the winter season as Nova ghee is known to warm the body and keep young ones from catching cold. This Punjabi style crumbled-dish is also a great way to use up leftover rotis the next day. You can even eat Punjabi Choori as an indulgent mid morning snack with a glass of hot Badam milk.

Ingredients For Punjabi Choori Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a bowl, mix all ingredients and add three tsp Nova ghee.
  • 2. Make perfect dough with water as required. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
  • 3. Take a lemon sized ball and roll into a parantha. Heat tava and roast these parathas with Nova ghee.
  • 4. In a plate, place parantha, pour 2 tsp of Nova ghee.
  • 5. Crumble parantha with hands and serve in a bowl.
