Sabudana wada Recipe

instead of deep frying, you can shallow fry vadas in non-stick pan to make them less oily and low calorie snack. You can bake them in oven also

Ingredients For Sabudana wada Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash sabudana and soak them for 2½ hours in 1/3 cup water.
  • 2. drain off the sabudana well in a strainer
  • 3. transfer the soaked and drained sabudana into a large mixing bowl
  • 4. add boiled and grated potatos
  • 5. Add crushed peanuts, ginger, chilli, coriander leaves, garam masala ,aamchur sugar ,lemon juice and salt to taste.
  • 6. combine, mix and mash well with your hand, make sure to form a dough.
  • 7. now prepare small flat patties so it gets cooked faster make a hole in middle if u want a shape of wada.
  • 8. roast the sabudana tikki/wada on medium hot tawa. you can also deep fry them.
  • 9. spread few tsp of oil, for even roasting flip over once one side turns golden brown.
  • 10. serve sabudana wada with tomato sauce or green chutney.
