Ingredients For Sesame residue veg balls in buttermilk stew | Koora telagapindi veg balls in majjiga pulusu

Methods
  • 1. For the veg balls - Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions ,veggies, chopped green chilly and salt.
  • 2. Saute well and cook until they become tender.
  • 3. Now pour 2 cups of water along with salt to the above mixture. Once it starts boiling,add 1 cup of sesame residue ,red chilly powder to it.
  • 4. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
  • 5. After 5 minutes, turn off the flame. And allow it to attain room temperature.
  • 6. Once it attains room temperature, make smalls of the above mixture .
  • 7. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the above balls in batches over a low to medium flame.
  • 8. Drain off the oil and transfer these balls to a plate.
  • 9. For the buttermilk stew - Whisk the curd using a spoon or a whisker.
  • 10. Pour adequate water to it and churn it well to form buttermilk.
  • 11. Add salt to the buttermilk and mix well.
  • 12. Seasoning preparation - Heat oil in a pan.
  • 13. Add all the ingredients as given above for seasoning. Allow them to splutter
  • 14. Then add turmeric powder to it. Turn off the flame.
  • 15. Transfer the seasoning to the buttermilk. Drop the fried veg balls into the buttermilk.
  • 16. Keep aside. Let the balls absorb the buttermilk.
  • 17. Serve the sesame residue veg balls in buttermilk along with hot steamed rice.
