Ingredients For Shahi pulav recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash & soak rice for 15 min. & drain completely.Heat 1.75 cup water in a pan. Add salt, butter and slit chillies,bring to boil.
  • 2. Add rice and cook covered till done. Fluff gently and let cool.
  • 3. Powder together fennel, dry ginger, clove and cardamom seeds.
  • 4. Boil carrots and peas till they are just done. Soak saffron in milk.
  • 5. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan.Fry dry fruits and fresh fruits separately till they turn golden,remove from pan.
  • 6. Add 1more tbsp ghee. Add lightly crushed pepper corns ,onion slices & salt. Fry till they start changing colour.
  • 7. Add veggies, fry for 2 min. Now add spice powder, mix well. Add rice, saffron milk and rose syrup.
  • 8. Mix well and keep covered for 2 min. on low flame. While serving top with fried dry fruits and fresh fruits.
