Ingredients For Thekua Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a large bowl take wheat flour and sooji.
  • 2. Add fennel, coconut and cardamom powder and mix well.
  • 3. Then add 3 tablespoon Nova ghee. Mix and make sure mixture is holding shape.
  • 4. Boil 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water to prepare sugar water.
  • 5. Cool the sugar water and pour over the four.
  • 6. Knead a smooth and tight dough.
  • 7. Pinch a ball sized dough and roll it in a cylindrical shape.
  • 8. Now shape as you want with help of toothpick. I have shaped like leaf.
  • 9. Deep fry them in ghee for 15 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  • 10. Drain off and cool completely. Thekua is ready.
