Ingredients For Tricolour Halwa Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Carrot Halwa:-Firstly, add ghee in a heavy bottom kadai.
  • 2. Secondly, add grated carrot in it and roast for 3 minutes on medium flame.
  • 3. Then add milk in carrot. And cook for 30 minutes on low to medium flame. Meanwhile mix it gently few times.
  • 4. When milk start evaporated, then add sugar and cardamom powder in it and mix gently. Cook for 10 minutes on low flame or till milk and sugar mixture evaporated
  • 5. Now add malai in it and mix it. Cook it for 2 minutes.
  • 6. Your carrot halwa is ready to serve.
  • 7. Green peas Halwa:Wash and clean the Green Peas. Add them into a blender and make a puree out of it.
  • 8. Heat ghee in a wok or a heavy bottom pan and add in the nuts into it and roast until golden brown.
  • 9. Remove the nuts from ghee and set them aside.
  • 10. Add in the Green Peas puree into the same ghee and start cooking.
  • 11. Stir them continuously. Make sure not to burn the mixture.
  • 12. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until the mixture is cooked completely.
  • 13. Add in milk and keep cooking until the milk evaporates.
  • 14. Add in sugar and give a quick stir.
  • 15. Addition of sugar releases water. Keep cooking until the moisture evaporates.
  • 16. cook until the mixture reaches the halwa consistency.
  • 17. Garnish with the roasted nuts. Switch off the flame.
  • 18. suji halwa:-Take ghee in a pan, add sooji to it. Stir the sooji with the ghee thoroughly. Add sugar and cardamom and mix them well.
  • 19. Now add milk and dry fruits. Whisk them thoroughly.
  • 20. Cover the pan for a while and let the mixture boil.
  • 21. Add some ghee and more dry ruits to the halwa and mix well. Serve.
