Ingredients For ALOO TAMATOR KI SUBJI / POTATO AND TOMATO SUBJI RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. Wash and peel the potatoes and cut into four pieces.
  • 2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker,add fenugreek seeds to crackle.
  • 3. Add potatoes and saute for one minutes ,now add red chilly powder and turmeric powder and saute for 5 to 6 minutes
  • 4. Grind the mustard seeds ,cumin seeds and garlic cloves to make a fine paste.
  • 5. Add this mustard seeds paste in the pressure cooker and saute for one minutes and now add tomato and mix well.
  • 6. Add one cup water for gravy and pressure cook on medium flame.
  • 7. After one whistle simmer the flame for five minutes.
  • 8. Once cooled ,open the lid and add salt and mix well.
  • 9. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • 10. Serve with kachori.
