Ingredients For Cauliflower chocolate cake Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First to make chocolate leaves: melt chocolate with butter and let it cool a bit then take a paint brush and take well cleaned leaves and apply the melted chocolate over the leave and freeze it for five mins.
  • 2. Take it out peel out the leaf from the backside and keep it back in the freezer till garnish. To make chocolate roses you need a chocolate rose mould just pour the melted chocolate over it and freeze it for five mins and unmould and keep in freezer till garnish.
  • 3. Note while moulding the chocolates please keep in mind that there should not even be little trace of water.
  • 4. For cake process First take all the dry ingredients and mix well. Now steam the cauliflower florets and put it in a blender with milk oil and vinegar and mix well.
  • 5. Now mix put the cauliflower paste with the dry ingredients and mix well.
  • 6. Now grease your baking tray with oil or melted butter and dust it with cocoa powder and spread evenly so that it does not stick to the mould.
  • 7. Now pour the batter into the mould and bake for 30 mins at 180 degrees. oven should be preheated at the same temperature for 10mins.
  • 8. For chocolate syrup: mix coco powder and powder sugar then put in room temperature butter and pour hot water gradually to make a thick consistency.
  • 9. Freeze it for ten mins for thick consistency.Now once cake it ready and cooled pour the syrup on cake and spread.
  • 10. Garnish:now garnish with cherry and chocolate leaves and chocolate roses.Optional grated chocolate too.

I was a little unsure about the texture (being used to the normal cakes we have) and did think twice (as you said). I made one in a smaller size. And it id indeed a must have.

This is so unique way of making a cake, not sure whether the taste of cauliflower in the cake will be a good flavour or not. I will try this recipe for sure!

There is no taste of cauliflower at all.. when my neighbors had they just could not believe.

Thanks , there is no taste of cauliflower at the end , my neighbor could not believe the hidden ingredient. It’s very buttery and smooth and but tastes like a normal Chocolate cake . I normally don’t have the cakes I bake but this is the only one I hogged.
