Ingredients For Chinese Braid Roll Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Mix 2 tbsp sugar in luke warm water. Add 2 tbsp yeast to it and keep aside for 15 mins
  • 2. Once this yeast ferments add this water to 2 cups flour. Now add chilli flakes and oregano with required water and salt to form a soft dough. Keep it aside for 1.5 hours
  • 3. In a sauce pan add 4 tbsp oil. Add green chillies, garlic and ginger. Saute for a minute
  • 4. Add sliced onions and saute for another 2 mins. Add the bell peppers and carrots. Mix well and cook for 2 mins
  • 5. Add soy sauce, vinegar, red & green chilli sauce, maggi taste maker and salt as required. Add a little water to it. Now add boiled maggi noodles in it and combine well. Cook until saucy.
  • 6. Now take the rested dough. Make a big ball and roll it out medium thick.
  • 7. Place the filling and roll the edges. Fold it like a frankie leaving 1/3rd part from end.
  • 8. Now make slits 3mm thick with the 1/3rd left out part. Place these slits over the rolled chinese roll.
  • 9. Bake at 185 degree Celsius for 20-25 mins until brown colour comes on top. Grease with butter after taking it out from oven.
