  • 1. Take a pan, pour in some oil, add in the peanuts and roast it, until it leaves its aroma, now add in the cashew followed by roasted chana, sliced dry coconut, roast them slightly.
  • 2. Then add in the raisins, all the masalas, curry leaves, and mix it till the condiments release its aroma.
  • 3. At this stage add in the roasted poha, followed by tumeric, salt.
  • 4. Turn the flame to the lowest,and keep mixing, until the poha completely turns yellow.
  • 5. Your chivda namkeen is ready.

I see that there is some flaw or ingredient missing from the recipes. 1)onions is integrally part of the recipe and red chillies powder contributes to the acidity in place of that we can use green chillies .the properties of green chillies add to our immune system
