Churros Recipe

Churro is a deep snack. It's Spanish originated and now loved worldwide. churros are typically fried until they become crunchy and then are sprinkled with sugar or cinnamon. This sweet is eaten by dipping it in chocolate sauce. It's made using eggs but I have made an eggless version of it.

You need to modulate the heat while frying. Initially heat should be low, gradually increase the flame.

Ingredients For Churros Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Heat oil in a pan. Add sugar, salt and butter.
  • 2. Once water starts boiling and added ingredients mixed to it , remove it from gas.
  • 3. Add the flour and mix it well. Dough should be mixed up well.
  • 4. Dough will leave the pan. Transfer it to a plate.
  • 5. Fill the dough into piping bag with star shaped tip/nozal.
  • 6. Make strings of churros using piping bag.
  • 7. Heat the oil and fry the churros until golden and crisp.
  • 8. When you add the churros into frying pan, keep the flame low, once it starts changing colour, then increase the heat.

Can it be made with any flour?

Hi, usually it is made using All purpose flour, but I have also made it using wheat flour. Getting similar result.
