Dal paratha

Sindhi's celebrate thadri that means nothing can be cooked at home that day. Everything should be cooked a day prior. You have to eat thanda(cold). So we prepare dal parathas to suffice the need of proteins. Check out this very healthy recipe.

Methods
  • 1. Make a semi soft dough with wheat flour. Keep aside
  • 2. In a pan heat 3 tbsp of oil. Add jeera, green chillies and curry leaves. Once it splits add and Roast the soaked yelkow mung dal.
  • 3. Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder aling with half cup water. Cook on medium flame covered until the water evaporates.
  • 4. Once the dal cooks and water evaporates keep it aside and cool.
  • 5. Make medium sized balls. Apply oil and Sprinkle a little salt on a rolled thick roti. Fill the dal like you to aloo in paratha. And roll it out
  • 6. Roast well on a pan. Apply oil/Ghee generously. Serve with sweet curd.
