Check the Dalia after 2 whistles. If you like soft Dalia then cook it again for 2-3 minutes. You can add more vegetables of your choice.

Ingredients For Dalia Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Dry roast the Dalia.
  • 2. Heat ghee or oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds. When it starts crackle add green chilli, ginger and onion. Saute it for few minutes.
  • 3. Add carrot and capsicum . Cook it for few minutes. Add all the spices. Mix it.
  • 4. Finally add roasted Dalia and 2.5 bowl water. Close the lid. Cook it for 2 whistles.
  • 5. Let the pressure release. Open the lid. Add coriander leaves and lemon juice.
  • 6. Serve hot.
