Fried Rice (Jasmin Rice) Recipe

quick easy and tasty dish goes well with veg Manchurian, There are many different recipes for fried rice, I have followed the basic method of Indochinese cuisine. Fried Rice is made with cooked rice and seasoned with soy sauce, For the best flavour, sesame oil is used for fried rice, you can also use cooking oil or vegetable oil.

Recipe Notes

For2 cup of rice, use 4 cups of water. Add water in a bowl bring it to boil, add washed rice, cook covered for 15 minutes on medium flame.

Methods
  • 1. Heat oil in a pan add chopped garlic and saute for a minute.
  • 2. Add chopped green onion and cook for a minute
  • 3. Add julienned carrot and capsicum, cook on a high flame 2 minutes.
  • 4. Add salt, white pepper, soy sauce, and vinegar and mix it
  • 5. Add cooked rice and sprinkle little oil, toss until rice is coated well
  • 6. Garnish with green onions and serve hot
