Ingredients For Instant Dhokla Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients except eno, mix it well with water make a smooth batter.Rest it for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • 2. Meanwhile grease plates or thalis using oil.
  • 3. Keep ready the steamer.
  • 4. Just before steaming add eno . mix gently the batter will become frothy.
  • 5. Immediately transfer the batter in greased the plate. Placing the plates in steamer.
  • 6. Steam the dhokla on medium flame for 15- 20 minutes after 15 minutes check the dhokla with the toothpick if it comes out clean turn off the flame. Remove it. Keep asidelet it cool.
  • 7. Heat oil in a small pan. Add mustard seeds Once seeds crackle, add curry leaves, green chilies.Add sugar. Sauté for few seconds. Mix nicely. turn off the heat. Add 1-2 tsp water.
  • 8. Pour this tempering over the dhokla.Cut it into pieces.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve.
