Methods
  • 1. 1. First make the dough by mixing jowar flour and all purpose flour with 2tbsp oil, water and a pinch of salt.
  • 2. 2. Cut and boil potatoes, cauliflower and peas.
  • 3. 3. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, ginger and green chillies saute for few seconds.
  • 4. 4. Then add the boiled veggies and the powdered spices and mix it well. Saute it for few minutes.
  • 5. 5. Mash the veggies, add raisins and cashews and keep it aside to cool.
  • 6. 6. Cut the circular dough in the middlle to make cone shapes.
  • 7. 7. Now, fill the cones with potato, cauliflower and peas mixture.
  • 8. 8. Stuff properly and seal the edges.
  • 9. 9. Deep fry the samosas till golden yellow. Drain out the excess oil.
  • 10. 10. Jowar cauliflower samosas are ready to serve with mint chutney or sauce.
