  • 1. First of all, clean the moong dal thoroughly and keep it soaked for a couple of hours.
  • 2. After this, drain the water from the lentils and take it in a vessel.
  • 3. Then take salt, all the other ingredients in it and mix it with ghee.
  • 4. After that with little by little of water the ata has to be kneaded.
  • 5. Now take small balls and roll them slightly thicker than roti.
  • 6. After this, heat the pan and roast it red on low flame.
  • 7. Then it can be eaten with curd, pickle and any vegetable.
