Ingredients For METHI MATAR MALAI RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. Take a sauce pan, add 1 glass water and 1/4 tsp salt . Boil it . Add methi leaves. Give it one boil. Under the running water wash it. Drain all the water. Keep aside.
  • 2. Heat 2 tsp ghee add all the ingredients of paste. Saute for 3-4 minutes. In a mixture jar add all the ingredients of masala paste. Grind it to make fine paste.
  • 3. Heat ghee in a wok, add cumin seeds. When it starts crackle add masala paste . Saute it for 3-4 minutes.
  • 4. Add fenugreek leaves. Saute it for 2 minutes.
  • 5. Now add 1/2 cup water and cream. Mix it well. Stir continuesly.
  • 6. Add peas , sugar and salt. Cover it with lid. Cook on low heat until peas become soft.
  • 7. Adjust the consistency. Add garam masala. Turn off the flame.
