During this time when restaurants are closed, tried this restaurant style karari roti for the first time and it turned out really well. Have made it a bit healthy by using wheat flour along with maida.

Ingredients For Mini Karari Roti Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take wheat flour, maida, ghee and salt in a plate.
  • 2. Mix everything well with your hands properly.
  • 3. Start kneading the dough using milk by adding it gradually.
  • 4. The dough should not be too hard or too soft. Now add oil and knead it again.
  • 5. Cover the dough and keep it aside for 20-25 minutes.
  • 6. Now divide the dough into two parts.
  • 7. Roll out roti from the dough by dusting rice flour on the rolling pin. Using rice flour will ensure that the rotis turn out thin.
  • 8. Now keep a round kadhai inverted on the gas burner. Brush the outer side with oil properly and switch on the gas.
  • 9. When the kadhai becomes hot transfer the rolled out roti carefully on the kadhai.
  • 10. Once little bubbles are formed on the roti flip it.
  • 11. Keep pressing bubbles with a cloth and rotating the roti on the kadhai.
  • 12. Cook till it becomes golden brown a bit. Similarly make the other one.
  • 13. In a mixing bowl take butter, red chilli powder chaat masala and cumin seeds powder. Mix them well.
  • 14. Apply the prepared mixture with a brush properly. Sprinkle coriander and serve it.
