Recipe Notes

If you want to deep fry the tikkis then first dip the tikki in mixture of maida and water then roll in the oats then deep fry them in the kadhai.

Methods
  • 1. First wash the raw papaya and peel it and grate it now add a spoon of ghee to a pan and fry the grated papaya so that it's water dries up.
  • 2. Now chop almond and cashew nuts and fry them lightly, now fry the paneer a little and add some black pepper and black salt to it, now mix it in dry fruits.
  • 3. Now take grated papaya and add boiled potatoes and bread crumbs in it. Now add green chillies, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, salt, dried mango powder and coriander leaves and mix well.
  • 4. Now place the oats in a plate. Now take a little ball of the mixture and flatten it with your hands, now keep the cheese and the stuffing that we prepared in the center, now make round tikki with light hands, now wrap it well in oats.
  • 5. Now put ghee on a pan and fry the tikkis on low flame till they get golden brown. Likewise make all the tikkis, now make green chutney by adding coriander leaves, green chillies , cumin, salt and garlic and grind it well. Then serve the tikkis with green chutney, tamarind chutney, dahi and sev.
