First take oil in a Kadai add mustard seeds, chana dal and hing and let it splutter add turmeric powder, curry leaves and let it turn crisp.

Now add the rava and roast it well with the tadka. Once roasted add coriander leaves and ginger incorporate well.

Now mix water in curd and make buttermilk first then add this to the rava and whisk it so that it does not form lumps. Rest it for two hours. Divide into part add 1/3 teaspoon of eno and steam in a greased idli plate for ten minutes.
