Roll sponge when slightly hot, not completely cold.

Ingredients For Rose and Coconut Swiss Roll With mawa and Gulkand Filling Recipe

Methods
  • 1. For sponge: Whip Egg whites and sugar first for 5 minutes till double in volume Then add Egg yolks slowly and whip again, Then add vanilla essence and mix.
  • 2. Then fold in the flour and mix lightly then at last add honey, milk and melted butter and mix lightly.
  • 3. Then bake it @180.c for 10 minutes.
  • 4. In another bowl whisk mawa till light and fluffy and then add cream abd whipp till soft and fluffy. Then add powdered sugar and mix.
  • 5. Once Sponge is baked then let it cool down a litlle and then roll it around rolling pin and keep in freezer for 20 minutes then spread a layer of mawa evenly.
  • 6. Then sprinkle dessicated coconut over mawa layer and then add Gulkand layer and then roll it again tightly and keep it in fridge for 30 minutes.
  • 7. Then cut in even size and garnish with dried rose petals.
