Ingredients For Sago khichdi Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Clean sago in a running water for 3 to 4 times. Soak with water for 4 hours. Add,peanut powder, powdered sugar, salt and mix it well. Keep it to rest for 15 minutes. Heat oil in a frying pan and add cumin seeds,curry leaves, ginger slices and stirr for 30 seconds.add potatoes cut into small cubes.
  • 2. Fry potatoes cubes on a medium flame for 3/4 minutes. Add turmeric powder and soaked sagu chopped coriander leaves and green chilli slices, crashed roasted peanuts and mix on high flame for 2 minutes to avoid sagu becomes sticky. Cover the frying Pan with lid and keep on slow flame for 4/5 minutes.
  • 3. Put the gas oven off and mix 1 table spoon lemon juice and mix the whole thing very well. Serve with chatni if you wish. serve the sagu khichdi for navratri fasting.
