You can make it only with kodo. Everyone in my house likes this with Rawa , so I mix the rawa in it.

Ingredients For Super healthy Kodo Millet Rawa Upma

Methods
  • 1. Soak kodo in Luke warm water for 10 minutes.
  • 2. Take a wok heat oil in it . Add mustard seeds urad dal and Chana dal. When mustard seeds starts crackle add green chilli, curry leaves and onions. Saute it for 3-4 minutes.
  • 3. Add carrot and capsicum. Cook it for 3-4 minutes on low medium flame.
  • 4. Add salt , black pepper powder, and soaked kodo. Mix it well. Roast it for few minutes. Add roasted Rawa. Mix all the things very well.
  • 5. Now gradually and safely add 3 cup hot water in it . Stir continuesly , Otherwise lumps will form.
  • 6. Mix it well. Cook it on low heat. Turn off the flame. Put 1 tsp ghee and lemon juice in it.
  • 7. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot.
