Ingredients For Sweet Blooming Flowers Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a mixing bowl take 1 cup maida.
  • 2. 1/2 tsp baking powder.
  • 3. Red food colour.
  • 4. 2 tbsp ghee and mix well. Now add water as required and knead it into a dough.
  • 5. Allow it to rest 20 minutes.
  • 6. In a mixing bowl take 1 cup maida.
  • 7. 1/2 tsp baking powder.
  • 8. Yellow food colour.
  • 9. 2 tbsp ghee and mix well. Now add water as required and knead it into a dough.
  • 10. Allow it to rest 20 minutes.
  • 11. Now prepare sugar syrup.
  • 12. In a heavy-bottomed pan
  • 13. Add sugar and water (as mentioned in the recipe). Dissolve sugar completely.
  • 14. Add lemon juice and cardmom powder. Now cook till 1 string consistency.
  • 15. Now prepare flowers of dough. For that take small red and yellow dough and make balls.
  • 16. Now fill the yellow ball inside red dough ball. With help of hands roll it.
  • 17. Now with help of sharp knife make 6-8 slots over it. Slots should be till half of the dough.
  • 18. Prepare all flowers like this.
  • 19. Now in a pan heat oil and on low flame fry all flowers well.
  • 20. Now put this flowers into sugar syrup for 15 minutes minimum. If you want you can keep it for a longer time as well.
  • 21. Now remove flowers from syrup.
  • 22. Garnish with chopped almonds and serve.
