It's a Bengali special sandesh recipe .I have made it tricolour but without any food colour.

Ingredients For Tri Colour Sandesh

Methods
  • 1. For homemade yellow food colour , grate the raw turmeric & dry it in direct sunlight for at least 7 days. Then grind it in mixer to make a powder of it. Store it in airtight container for long time.
  • 2. For green colour, finely chop the spinach leaves & dry it in direct sunlight for 7 to 10 days. Then grind it to make it's powder. Make large in quantity & store it in airtight container for long use.
  • 3. Now bring to boil the milk first. When it will start to boil, add vinegar to make it curdle.
  • 4. Wash the paneer under cold water to avoid the sour taste of vinegar.
  • 5. Now heat ghee in a pan & add paneer. Add cardamom powder & milk maid. Stir it constantly in low flame.
  • 6. When it will start to leave the sides of the pan then switch of the flame.
  • 7. Make it cool for few minutes. Then mash it well. If you want you can do it in mixer.
  • 8. Then divide the mixture in three part & mix green & yellow colour.
  • 9. Now take very small portion of white , green & yellow sandesh mixture & give the shape as you want.
  • 10. Tri colour sandesh is ready to serve.
