Veg Quesadillas Recipe

Quesadilla is a Mexican dish consisting of a soft tortilla (flat-bread) stuffed with cheese and a filling of vegetables or meat. These are then folded in half (making a half-moon shape) and roasted on a griddle on the stovetop until the cheese melts and is crisp.

Ingredients For Veg Quesadillas Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take flour in a big bowl and add 1 teaspoon oil, salt, baking soda and water to it.
  • 2. Mix everything well and knead a soft dough. Keep it covered for 10 minutes.
  • 3. Make balls from the kneaded dough. Now roll it with help of rolling pin like a tortilla.
  • 4. Cook the tortilla on a hot griddle from both the sides.
  • 5. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions and fry.
  • 6. Then add boiled chickpeas and all the vegetables and fry on high flame for 5 minutes.
  • 7. Now add garam masala powder and red chili powder and mix.
  • 8. Switch off the gas after adding salt.
  • 9. Now add mayonnaise to it and mix well.
  • 10. Place one tortilla on a plate and keep the stuffing on one side of it. Add grated mozzarella cheese over it and fold the tortilla from the middle, then press lightly so that the both sides of tortilla stick together.
  • 11. Now heat butter in a grill pan and grill it from both sides. Cut it into triangular pieces and serve with Tandoori Mayonnaise dip.
