Ingredients For Vegetable Khichdi Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Soak green moong dal, yellow moong dal for about 10 minutes.
  • 2. In the cooker add oil, ghee, add jeera, curry leaves, cashewnuts, black peppercorns, and mix well.
  • 3. Then add ginger+chilli+coriander leaves paste and mix well.
  • 4. Then add the vegetables, green moong and yellow moong dal, oats& broken wheat and mix well.
  • 5. Then add turmeric &salt and water and pressure cook it for, 2 whistles.
  • 6. In a kadai add oil, shallow fry the chopped potatoes, add salt and turmeric powder and mix well.
  • 7. Cook till it becomes soft . Then add chopped coriander leaves an curry leaves, sambar powder, amchoor powder and mix well.
  • 8. Then add green chillies an mix well.
