Ingredients For Wheat Flour Chakari Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First of all, put all the flour in a bowl/container that fits in any of your cookers.
  • 2. We need to steam this flour. Keep a plate or stand at the bottom and place that bowl on top of it and add water at the base. Take 2 to 3 whistles.
  • 3. Now after the cooker is opened and the flour is cooled down a bit, transfer it into a container in which you would knead the dough.
  • 4. Mix all the flour together and add salt, carom seeds (after mashing between palms), cumin seeds, sesame seeds, and green chili paste.
  • 5. Now add oil to it and mix well. I would recommend mixing it between the palms so that all oil is mixed. Adding water to it, prepare a soft dough.
  • 6. Now make chakli of this dough and deep fry them on medium-high flame till they turn light brown from both sides.
  • 7. Our chakri is ready and keep a side for cool down . When ever the chakri is cool down to store in airtight container.
