Black sesame cake with jaggery Recipes

Sesame which is widely used in China here is a recipe with my touch of sesame cakes made there .. They are made in bite sizes piece traditionally. This cake is with my healthy touch to it.

Recipe Notes

1) roast the sesame on low flame till it splutters. 2) Note how to grease the mould : first put one layer of oil and spread evenly then dust some cocoa powder on the oil and dab it with brush then pour the batter into the mould this is help prevent the batter from sticking and also give a nice chocolate smell to the cake.

Methods
  • 1. First mix all dry ingredients with 2 teaspoon of chopped cherry then mix the sesame seeds then add oil, jaggery and warm milk so that jaggery melts easily.
  • 2. Grease the mould pour the batter and preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 mins then bake in oven for 30 to 40 mins depending on your oven and set it at 180 degree.
  • 3. Garnish with rest of the cherry and serve.

Thanks for your comment , I did not realise the typing mistake so made the change now. It’s just oil ( fat) for the cake that needs to be added.
