Usually Broccoli is used to make continental dishes. I have incorporated it with Indian gravy, and a new yummy subji is ready in minutes which can be relish with roti or paratha.
1.
Soak the cashews in water for half hour. Parboil the broccoli. Keep it in boiling water for about 3-4 minutes and then remove it. Drain the water.
2.
To make onion paste, Keep the diced onion into boiling water for about 6-7 minutes or till it softens. Then remove the water.
3.
Let it cool down a bit and then grind it in a mixer jar.
4.
Transfer the chopped tomatoes, garlic, green chilli and ginger paste and soaked cashews to a mixer jar and make a paste of it.
5.
Heat butter.add tomato paste to it and cook till oil seperates.
6.
Now add boiled onion paste, salt and cook for 2 minutes. Now we will add masalas-turneric powder, red chilli powder, dhaniya powder, and garam masala and saute it.
7.
Add parboiled broccoli to it, and cook for two more minutes.
