Ingredients For Dahi vada Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash and soak urad dal overnight.
  • 2. Grind it nicely with little water. Transfer in a mixing bowl. Add asafoetida and a little salt.
  • 3. Whisk the mixture in one direction for 5-7 minutes.
  • 4. Fry these vadas of desired size on medium flame till they become slight brown in colour.
  • 5. Soak the vadas in water .
  • 6. Meanwhile whisk curd till smooth . Add salt, black salt, cumin seed powder, red chilli powder and sugar. Mix well.
  • 7. Squeeze vadas slightly. Let them cool completely.
  • 8. Place the vadas in a serving plate. Pour the sweetened curd.
  • 9. Garnish with sweet chutney and coriander leaves. Sprinkle red chilli and cumin seed powder.
  • 10. Serve cold.
