Recipe Notes

By cutting the corn starch we are reducing the amount of carbs in it. Rice flour is healthier than corn flour. Also take care do not boil the gravy after adding manchurian as they will be soft due the rice flour and they may end up deforming in the liquid

Ingredients For Dry manchrian without corn starch Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Finely chop or shred cabbage carrot, capsicum, garlic, ginger and green chillies. Add salt and red or green chilliy sauce to it.
  • 2. Combine well. Now add 1.5 cup rice flour and 1 cup maida to the veggies.
  • 3. Sprinkle little water and combine well.
  • 4. Now the mixture should resemble a dough. It should be combined well.
  • 5. Now you can form balls from the dough and deep fry or else you can make small balls and shallow fry them.
  • 6. For the gravy take a pan. Add oil to it. Now add 1 tbsp of garlic and ginger. Add thinly sliced onion and capsicum in the oil.
  • 7. Mix the chings dry manchrian sachet in cold water and add it in the pan. Let it boil and reduce.
  • 8. Before adding the manchurian reduce the flame and let the gravy settle. Add the manchurian.
  • 9. Serve hot and garnish with coriander leaves.
