You use vegetables of your choice I have used carrots, french beans, coulifower ,peas , bell pepper

Methods
  • 1. Wash the millets in a fine sieve under running water.
  • 2. Soak into 4to 5 cup water for 2 to 5 hour for best result.
  • 3. Heat oil in a deep pot.
  • 4. When the oil is hot, add garlic, green chilli and ginger. Sauté for a minute
  • 5. Add chopped onions and soute till transparent
  • 6. Now add other vegetables and all the spices. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  • 7. add millets with soaked water to the pot and cook on medium high till there is a boil.
  • 8. Reduce the heat to low and cook covered, with a little opening,
  • 9. till all the water is absorbed and the millet is cooked through fine khichdi consistency,
  • 10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with lightly spiced.
