Methods
  • 1. Prepare the dough by mixing the flours carrom seeds. salt and knead the dough.
  • 2. Prepare the filling by mixing all the ingridents.
  • 3. Prepare the tempering - Heat oil and add the cumin mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  • 4. When the curry leaves become crispy add the tempering to the filling.
  • 5. Now roll the dough into two rectangle shape chapatis
  • 6. Keep one rectangle over another and fill the filling in between.
  • 7. On the edge of the rectangle cut strips and make a lattice patter by alternating the strips.
  • 8. Picture provided for reference.
  • 9. Once all the Lattice Pattice are ready.
  • 10. Heat oil and shallow fry them on both the side.
  • 11. Alternately you can brush some oil over the lattice and bake in the preheated oven at 180 D c for 15 minutes.
  • 12. Serve with some chutney or sauce of your choice.
