Ingredients For Gobhi mussalam (full gobhi masala roast) Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take a medium sized cauliflower and cut all the excess stems only the main flower part is required now wash & clean it properly.
  • 2. Heat kadai add oil, add cinnamon, cardamon & cloves fry for 1 minutes then add onion & ginger&garlic paste mix well fry for 3 minutes, add turmeric, coriander powder fry for other 3 to 4 minutes over medium heat.
  • 3. When the masalas are fried well add 1 &1\2 cups water and bring it to boil then add the whole cauliflower in it.
  • 4. Cook the cauliflower over medium flame both the sides(by flipping it) for 4 minutes each by covering the lid.
  • 5. In the mean time make a fine paste of batista, curd, tomatoes & cashews and keep it aside.
  • 6. Now after 8 minutes take out the cauliflower and add the prepared batista paste in the boiling water. Simply stir the whole thing to make a thick gravy cook the gravy for 5 minutes.
  • 7. Now add the boiled cauliflower add lastly cook it for 5 minutes on low heat till it absorbs all the flavors.
  • 8. Serve hot with steaming rice.
