Gond Mewe ki Pinni Recipe

Pinni is very famous Punjabi sweet dish. It is eaten mostly in winters. Very healthy and delicious , served as a dessert . I made it from NOVA SHUDH Ghee , wheat flour, sugar , Gond and dry fruits.

Recipe Notes

Always Fry the nuts on low heat. Fry the Gond properly. It should be crunchy. If mixture becomes dry , add 2-3 tbsp more warm NOVA SHUDH GHEE.

Methods
  • 1. Take a heavy bottom wok. Heat 3-4 tbsp nova sudh ghee. Fry all the dry nuts one by one . Fry on low heat. Fry Gond in batches. Keep all the nuts in a plate . Let it cool. Grind all .
  • 2. Heat ghee in same wok. Add wheat flour. Roast it on low heat. Stir continuesly.Roast it till ghee starts releasing and nice aroma comes out. Turn off the flame.
  • 3. Add cardamom powder and grinded dry fruits and raisins. Mix it well.
  • 4. Let the mixture slightly cool. Add sugar in it. Mix it well.
  • 5. Grease your hand with NOVA GHEE. Take a small portion from mixture in your hand . Press it and make desired shape Pinni.
  • 6. Place almonds on each Pinni. Press it. Make all the Pinnis from the mixture.
