Gozeleme (Turkish flat bread ) Recipe

Gozeleme is it Turkish flat bread just looking like Indian paratha aur Kulcha but it has very different yummy and nutritious filling . This is one of my favourite spinach ,feta and mushroom . This is a wonderful flatbread that is crusty outside with soft and chewy inside filled with delicious filling.

Ingredients For Gozeleme (Turkish flat bread ) Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take a Big Bowl ,add curd ,baking powder, yeast ,sugar and salt in it
  • 2. Add flour in it and make a soft dough with it with the help of little water
  • 3. Apply olive oil on it and cover with the cling oil and keep it aside for 15 minutes
  • 4. Meanwhile take another bowl, add chopped spinach and mushroom ,feta cheese ,grated processed cheese ,salt and pepper
  • 5. If you want more spicy gozeleme and Paprika and red paprika sauce in it
  • 6. Knead well ..Cover with cling foil and keep aside for 30 minutes
  • 7. After 30 minutes .Take bread and knead once again.
  • 8. Divide dough into 8 pieces and make balls with these.
  • 9. Now dost a rolling board and roll a ball with rolling pin make a thin Roti with this
  • 10. Now put two tablespoon stuffing mixture in the centre of the roti
  • 11. Now pull the chapati from the centre and Seal the edges of gozeleme with fork
  • 12. Meanwhile heat a griddle and slow the flame.
  • 13. Put your gozeleme on griddle cover it with the lid.
  • 14. Flip it after 2 minutes apply olive oil with brush and flip another side and apply oil on both side and toast till crisp and golden
  • 15. Now you gozeleme is ready to serve enjoy with your favourite spicy sauce or with lemon wedges
