Methods
  • 1. Soak the wheat grains overnight.Morning transfer them into a pressure cooker and add water and boil till 2 whistles.Set aside
  • 2. Soak all the days along with rice and soak for 2 hours.Pressure cook with 2 cups water till 2 whistles.Setaside
  • 3. Take the mutton pieces add them to the pressure cooker. Add gg paste,salt ,dhania pwder,chopped onion and 4 cups water.Boip till Mutton is cooked well done.till 6 whistles.set aside
  • 4. In a separate pan heat oil and add the chopped garlic.once the garlic turns golden add the fennel pwder,ginger pwdr, red chilli pwder and fry the spices
  • 5. Now add the boiled Mutton,the boiled wheat, the boiled lentils
  • 6. Adjust the salt and spices
  • 7. Cook on slow flame for 30 to 45 minutes
  • 8. Transfer the Haleem to your serving dish and serve sprinkled with fried onions and fresh Mint leaves.
  • 9. Sprinkle garam masala pwder just before serving
  • 10. Squeeze lemon juice as per your taste
