Indori Poha Recipe

Poha is made by all but Indori poha with very little differences make a lot of change.. adding jeeravan masala saunf and sev raw onions pomegranate to it and steaming the poha makes a world of a difference. In this recipe I gave a little twist and add Garam masala instead of jeeravan masala . Lime is served in the side and normally not mixed in while making the poha .

Ingredients For Indori Poha Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First wash the poha then steam it for ten minutes.
  • 2. Take oil in pan add mustard seeds, jeera saunf ,curry pata, green chilli, ginger, and hing, let it splutter. Now add onions keeping aside little for garnish, add a pinch of salt and cook well.
  • 3. Add the steamed poha, sugar, salt, required for poha sprinkle garam masala, coriander, and mix well.
  • 4. Mix all the ingredients and layer them first cooked poha then remaining raw onions coriander..
  • 5. On top of that pomegranate and last layer with a nylon sev and thick sev. Keep half lemon on the side and serve with tea or green tea.
