Ingredients For Jowar Tarts with Palak paneer Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Let's prepare the tart.Take the jowar flour add the salt
  • 2. Add cold butter and rub the butter into the flour
  • 3. Now using very cold water ,make a stiff dough
  • 4. Do not add lot of water. 2 to 3 tbs is enough
  • 5. Place the dough in a airtight box and refrigerate it for 1 hr
  • 6. Prepare the Palak paneer gravy
  • 7. Heat oil and add sliced onions.When the onions turn golden brown,add the ginger garlic paste and fry
  • 8. Add all the dry spices along with salt and saute
  • 9. Now add chopped tomatoes and fry till they release the oil
  • 10. Now add spinach leaves from 1 bunch
  • 11. Dry the entire water
  • 12. Let this cool.Once cooled grind into a fine paste
  • 13. Transfer the gravy in the pan and add cubed paneer
  • 14. Cover and let it cook till paneer us soft.let this cool
  • 15. Let's prepare the tart shells
  • 16. Remove the Jowar dough and roll it out
  • 17. Place the rolled dough into the pie tins and trim the extras.Uding a fork, printed the tarts so they do not Puff up
  • 18. Place some chickpeas into the tarts and bake these tarts in the oven preheated at 180⁰ c for 20 to 25 mins
  • 19. Or till they turn golden brown
  • 20. Remove the tarts and discard the chickpeas.
  • 21. Let the tarts cool
  • 22. Now add our palak paneer gravy into the tarts and top it with some Mozerella cheese
  • 23. Again bake for just 5 to 7 m8ns till the cheese melts
  • 24. Enjoy this amazing fusion as an apetizer or as an main course dish
