Ingredients For Khandvi Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First mix water
  • 2. gram flour
  • 3. salt and Turmeric together in a pan and whisk to make a lump free batter
  • 4. Now switch on the gas and put the pan on the gas and keep stirring the batter on medium heat
  • 5. The batter starts to thicken in next few minutes
  • 6. in this stage stirr the batter on kow flame
  • 7. In next 5-7 mintues it will be ready to spread
  • 8. Now on a greased surface pour the mixture when it is hot and spread evenly on the surface
  • 9. with the help or a scraper or any spatula
  • 10. this process to be done quickly .
  • 11. Let the mixture cool for 2-3 minutes and Mark few vertical cuts to make stripes
  • 12. with the help of knife

  • 14. You can also make a horizontal cut if the length is more
  • 15. Now start rolling the strips and arrange them into a plate
  • 16. Now heat oil into a tadka pan
  • 17. add mustard seeds
  • 18. sesame seeds
  • 19. curry leaves and green chillies
  • 20. Add 3-4 tbsp water and then add sugar and tartri and boil it to dissolve
  • 21. Keep it aside to cool
  • 22. the pour on the ready khandvi

  • 24. Garnish with fresh corriender leaves
