Ingredients For Khara Loaf Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a bowl take 1/2 cup lukewarm water and add 3 tbsp of sugar. Give it a good mix. Add the yeast and mix well. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
  • 2. In another bowl sieve flour, salt, baking powder and turmeric. Now add dried mint powder and jeera to it along with chopped onion.
  • 3. Now add melted buttet and mix well until the mixture gets crumbly. Add the yeast with water and mix well.
  • 4. Knead it into a dough. Keep kneading it for 10 minutes.
  • 5. Keep this dough aside for 1.5 hours
  • 6. Once it gets doubled in size make small loaves from it taking care of sealing the ends.
  • 7. Keep it aside for another 30-40 minutes.
  • 8. Bake it at 190-200 degree Celsius for 25-30 minutes.
  • 9. Once it cools down slice it apply some butter and enjoy with hot tea.
