Recipe Notes

Prefer Alphonso mangoes for best result.If you dont have paneer you can use milk and curdle it with vinegar.

Ingredients For Mango Malai Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Cut the Alphonso mangoes into small cubes &put them in a pot.
  • 2. Add sugar &cook till its mushy &obtains a jam like consistency.
  • 3. Now Add 2 tbsp crumbled paneer to the mangoes &cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • 4. Our base is ready.Transfer this in a deep dish serving tray.
  • 5. Now we will prepare the top layer or the Malai.
  • 6. For this crumble the remaining paneer &add the condensed milk &milk.
  • 7. Cook till it turns nice &creamy.It should not be runny.Should be nice thick.
  • 8. Transfer the Malai layer over the mango jelly we prepared.
  • 9. Garnish with slivered nuts &rose petals.
  • 10. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
