You can add chopped potato also.Should be soaked for 2 hours to get a smooth texture and it will take less time to cook also.

Methods
  • 1. Heat oil in a cooker.
  • 2. Add green chilly and curry leaves.
  • 3. Add chopped onion and grated potato and saute it for 3 minutes on medium flame.
  • 4. Now add salt, spices and ginger garlic paste and little bit water, mix nicely and cook for 1 minute.
  • 5. Finally add soaked broken wheat and water,mix nicely and close the lid of cooker and cook it for 6 whistle on high flame.
  • 6. Masala Daliya Khichdi is ready to serve.
