Ingredients For Non Fried Batata Vada Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Boil and roughly mash the potatoes. Add ginger garlic paste.
  • 2. Add turmeric powder and salt as per taste. in a tadka pan take a little oil add mustard seeds.
  • 3. Once mustard seed pops add curry leaves and hing add this to the potato mixture.
  • 4. Mix the potato mixture thoroughly. Make small golf ball size balls
  • 5. In another bowl add besan, rice flour salt and turmeric powde rand water and make a thick paste (ribbon consistency).
  • 6. Take an appam pan brush some oil. dip the potato balls in the besan mixture.
  • 7. Place them in the appam pan. on a medium flame cook with cover lid for 3 minutes.
  • 8. Flip them on other side and cook with cover lid for another 3 minutes.
  • 9. Serve with mint and coriander chutney.
