Oats are very healthy for our body. So I tried appam with many veggies from Quaker oats and gave an aromatic tadka ti it mixing with tangy tomato masala mix provided in the pack.

Ingredients For Oats appam tossed in tangy tomato masala mix Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Grind the oats to a fine powder.
  • 2. Mix with chopped veggies of your choice. Add salt, black pepper, pinch soda and mix with water and make a batter.
  • 3. Then in the appam pan, add little oil and add the spoonful batter.
  • 4. Cook by covering, flip over after 2 mindand again cook it.
  • 5. In pan , add ghee, green chili, mustard seed, curry leaves and the tangy tomato masala mix and add appam into it. Give a nice mix.
  • 6. Serve with chutney.
