Paneer Makhni Tacos Recipe

Taco is a maxican dish. I have used filling of panner coated in luscious makhni sauce to give this dish Indian touch. This is a delicious fusion of international cuisine with classic Indian dish. Its easy to prepare once you have little preparation done in advance.

Ingredients For Paneer Makhni Tacos Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First we will prepare dough for taco. For that in a bowl mix wheat flour and maida.
  • 2. Add salt to taste and oil for moyan. Using required amount of water, knead a soft dough.
  • 3. Cover it and keep aside for about 10 minutes.
  • 4. Now prepare the small balls from this dough.
  • 5. Roll it in a medium thin roti. Cook it on tawa from.botg the sides till you get light marks of cooking.
  • 6. Chop the onion. Divide it into two portions.
  • 7. Now we will prepare makhani sauce. For that in a a pan heat oil.
  • 8. Add chopped onions (half of the amount of total), garlic, ginger and saute it till onion turns translucent.
  • 9. Once onions are cooked, add tomatoes and cashews and cook till tomatoes are mushy.
  • 10. Let this cool down and then grind it to a smooth puree.
  • 11. Add this puree to a pan. Add turmeric powder, dhaniya jeera powder and red chilli powder.
  • 12. Add salt to taste and let it simmer till you get good consistency. Add paneer cubes into it.
  • 13. In another pan take butter and once it is melted, add sliced onions and chopped bell peppers. Sprinkle little salt and cook it till raw taste of onions goes away.
  • 14. Now we will assemble the taco.
  • 15. Keep a prepared taco. Spread the tomato ketchup.
  • 16. Now keep the paneer makhni gravy and top it with some buttery sauteed vegetables (onions and bell peppers)
  • 17. Fold it and heat it on tawa just for 1 minute. Serve immediately.
